DANIEL

DANIEL was a fashion shoot that linked into a university module, the unit was split into two areas both Photography and Journalism. It was to be styled and presented in the style of the publication - Fantastic Man.

Once the final publication was created it was then transferred onto InDesign and exported to be printed as the final magazine spread.

As you may know I traveled to New York in February for NYFW, (Bit of a late post, I know).

I decided to do a little recap and as a little re-introduction into my blog as I've been majorly slacking on posts, hopefully now summer has started it'll be back to normal again soon!

NYFW through Instagram

I used to do little Instagram recaps but after not having too much to say I decided to stop for a while. I've decided to do this one before I do a bigger recap on my recent trip to New York. While going during fashion week it was bit of a different experience, but still just as amazing.
When I do my larger posts I'll try to separate the days and include a little more information but I'll leave the photos above as a little introduction to it.

2014

Well, I suppose I should start by wishing everyone a happy new year and I hope you all have an amazing 2014. 

I know 2013 was pretty packed for me, and I'm hoping the next year will be even better. Anyway, I'm just doing a quick post to say that I'm going to be getting back into my routine of using my blog much more frequently again, to both hopefully help other people out but also myself. I have some amazing things planned for the year ahead and I really want to make an effort to document it well. 

Plus, I've missed blogging, so why would I want to stop doing something I enjoy?

DAISY DE VILLENEUVE INTERVIEW

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to oversee an interview of Daisy de Villeneuve that was being held by my lecturer to help us gain a better knowledge of journalism within the creative industry.

One of our current modules is about Journalism and the Fashion Publication Process so not only did it count towards university it was also something that I had a genuine interest in. The venue was in a small room within the university building where some of her work was displayed on a wooden unit and dim lighting was used, to create a much more relaxed atmosphere. 

Daisy is an illustrator and has collaborated with the likes of TopShop and Vogue in the past, she has her own unique style and more information can be found over at http://www.daisydevilleneuve.com.
